A story of mine....

Well....I haven't posted in a long time...again. Anyways, here is where you can find one of my storys written long ago....I was planning to post my Man from Microsoft script, but I have to convert it into another format before I can do that.

I have 6 gmail invites again, anyone who one can have one....

Focus 2004:

Focus was awesome. Speeches, food, workshops, and socialization... I went to my three requested workshops: Drama(yay!!!!), Hockey, and mountain biking. Drama was the BEST! I was in the same workshop time as Andrea, and it was so fun. We had emotion transfers, where you got assigned an occupation(Dentist), and an emotion(frustrated). So I was a frustrated dentist, and then I had a partner who was a silly hair dresser....good times :)

Hmm....can't think of anything else tonight. Maybe you will get one of my deep, serious posts tonight....maybe.

What makes a hero a hero?

I was thinking about this Monday night as we drove home from Port Dover. Now, let's imagine that I was in the position to stop a gunman from shooting the queen. Now let us imagine that I did stop him, and I saved the queen from either death or a very traumatic experience. Does this make me a hero? I would say no. Just because I happened to be in the right place at the right time, does not necessarily mean that I am a hero. A hero is one who sacrifices of his time, resources, and even his own life, to fight for a worthy cause (a worthy cause being crime-fighting, spreading of the Gospel, etc.). Do you agree? Disagree? Tell me, if you wish.

Filmmaking

Apologies for the loooong delay in getting this out.

Why I want to be a filmmaker, reasons ranked in order of importance:

1) The media is huge influence to the culture, and without Christians having their influence in the media, then a large portion of the potential change that they produce is this culture is gone. Were called to stand out in the world, not receed into the background(yes, the roles come into play, but I believe I have covered that enough on Summer and Shimmer's blogs).

2) MY talents do not lie on the mathmatical field. Nor do they lie in other types of art(drawing(stickmen!!!! ;)), painting, etc.). On the subject of talents, I have a small amount of talent in the area of writing(I'll post one of my storys later on. Also, I won a trip for 4 to any place in the eastern end of Ontario by writing a story about a trip to B.C. I had once taken and sending to a contest Wesjet had put on). Writing is useful for filmmaking, because you write screenplays(I'll post one I've made\adapted with my story).

3) I have always loved movies. I mean, it the ultimate dream for me.

4) I once edited a short clip and inserted music to it....it was sooooo fun, I think it was the most fun I've ever had.

So there you go. I think theres more reasons, but it's 5 to 11 and I have to be in bed in 5 mins, so I hope you enjoyed reading this, and I'm looking forward to your comments(and perhaps seeing some of you on Thursday?)
